Cast Glass Open Casting

No experience necessary in this fun filled one day casting workshop cast glass.

800 Degrees glass brings a new 1 day crash workshop. Course participants will learn the art of creating a clay open-faced cast for casting glass using lead crystal glass.
You will learn techniques of the fundamental techniques of open casts and invest your casts ready for the crystal glass to be added for your own cast glass and learn about the intriguing and intricacies of moulds for open castings.
A very hands-on workshop and limited to a maximum of five people only. The day will be making your models and investing ready for the glass filling and then your moulds will be fired during the week optional to return the following week for a half day demoulding and basic coldworking techniques session) This workshop includes glass for your casts. Extra glass used will be charged at $55.00 per kg
