Christmas In the Quarters - Santa, Activities & Carols

Wellington City Council is celebrating Christmas with four free whānau-friendly events, in four different parts of the city this year.

Be at Waitangi Park for Santa’s arrival, to meet Santa, and for a fun range of Christmas activities. Santa will arrive in his special sleigh at 11am – see our web page for details of his movements. Meet Santa in his grotto between 11.30am and 5pm. Enjoy Christmas activities between 11am and 5pm, including ice skating, the snowball globe, foam pit, live music and entertainment, face painting, and caricatures, and stay for Christmas Carols singing with Nick Tansley and Friends, 5pm - 7pm. A variety of food trucks will also be on site. Postponement day Sunday 15 December.

Also, come and make Christmas crafts on Saturday 23 November in Midland Park. Bop along to Christmas music on Saturday 30 November in Glover Park, and enjoy circus acts under the sails at Queens Wharf on Saturday 7 December.
