Come Fly with Me: Napier Brass Bands Concert

The Napier Technical Memorial Band, Napier Tech Junior Band and Deco Bay Brass are once again inviting you to join them at the MTG on Sunday 11 August at 2pm for their 3rd annual joint concert.

You will be taken on an exhilarating musical journey all around the world, calling in at such exotic destinations as Hawai’i and the Middle East, with a stopover in Europe, before landing in Great Britain, where you will take a mini break in Bonny Scotland and experience the Celtic culture in Ireland before returning, on a long haul flight via the Wild West and New Orleans, to the land of the long white cloud, Aotearoa NZ. So fasten your seatbelts and prepare for take off.

Under the experienced leadership of Simon Schofield (Deco Bay Brass), Christopher Wilson (Napier Technical Memorial Band), and Teresa Cuthbert (Napier Tech Junior Band), this concert promises something for everyone.
