Family History Day

Come and join us for a fun filled Family History Day. Listen to interesting talks. Or join in one-on-one research-assisted-sessions working side by side with fellow genealogists and knowledgeable library staff researching or sharing your family history. Or do both. The talks are as follows:
10am - 11am - Beginning your family history – Seonaid Harvey
11.30am - 12.30pm - Around the World in 60 minutes – a brief look at how to access family history material for countries other than New Zealand – Marie Hickey
2pm - 3pm - I can’t find my ancestors! “Brick wall” techniques and Q&A – Seonaid Harvey and Marie Hickey.
This day is being run in collaboration with the Wellsford branch of the NZ Society of Genealogists and Wellsford Library. Afternoon tea is available. Attendance is free.
