Join Wellington Branch of Forest & Bird to hear from Chris Cosslett about 25 years of progress protecting Long Gully Bush - the largest area of protected private land in Wellington city.

The Wellington Natural Heritage Trust owns and manages this 100-hectare reserve adjacent to Zealandia. Exclusion of large animal pests and the intensive management of small animal pests has resulted in impressive native forest recovery without the need for planting.
