Franklin’s Premier Art Event the Franklin Art Show is returning to Pukekohe for another amazing exhibition of local and national art.

The Franklin Arts Festival invites all art-lovers to come appreciate this diverse exhibition of artworks from across New Zealand at Franklin: The Centre, running from Saturday 14 September to Sunday 22 September.

The show celebrates both established and emerging artists, many of which reside in the Franklin Area.

With various themed sections, the show offers broad categories for all artists to enter, exhibit and sell their artwork. We encourage art from all disciplines, and budding artists to take part in this premier art event.

The 2024 Franklin Art Show has three Sections.
Please look closely at which section you will enter.

Section 1 Includes Four Themes: Abundance, Identity, Contrast, Pop
Entrants may enter a maximum of three works across all themes.

Section 2 Youth – Years 7 – 13. Youth may enter three works, theme of their choice.

Section 3 Schools – Primary and Intermediate.

Entries open on Monday 22 July 2024 and close on Monday 19 August 2024.

The Opening Night and Prizegiving is a ticketed event that celebrates the artists in this year’s show. This will be held at Franklin: The Centre on Friday 13 September. A limited number of tickets will be made available on our website.
