Steel yourself – a Glenbrook Vintage Railway train is making its way into the region during the Centuria Taranaki Garden Festival.

All aboard – you can book a day trip on the refurbished heritage diesel train from New Plymouth to Hāwera, where you will be taken by coach to visit four gorgeous gardens – the Sullivan Garden, Tairoa Lodge for lunch, and the Sanderson and Oakley Gardens.

Fast track – this outing will appeal to railway enthusiasts and garden lovers alike, but ticket sales are limited so book early to secure your passage.

This wonderful day excursion will be hosted by our very experienced local gardening expert Chris Paul and will depart from the Wind Wand rail crossing at Tasman Prospect, New Plymouth.
