Jewellery Making Intensive - Beginners' Workshop

Join us for a fun day learning the skills to make your own jewellery, using sterling silver and copper or brass. All materials included in course fee.

Description
Learn the essential skills and techniques needed to make your own creations. The morning will begin with simple design examples and techniques using specialist jewellers’ tools, working with copper or brass. In the afternoon you will form and craft your own ring from sterling silver.

All materials included in course fee. Please bring pen and paper and wear clothing and footwear suitable for a workshop environment. Limited to nine participants. Please note you cannot be late for this one-day course, you must be there from the start of the course when health and safety matters are covered.

By the end of the course, you'll be able to:
- Create a silver band
- Demonstrate techniques for soldering sterling silver
- Perform metal forming, piercing and texturing skills
- Use essential jewellery-making tools accurately
