Jonathon Harper is a (previously full time for four decades) professional musician and composer.
Performs regularly in Cafes (Dux Central in May 2024) retirement villages, schools, and tours the country doing public concerts.

Jonathon Harper has set a few records for giving concerts as a New Zealand musician. After 33 years full time on the road here and overseas, he has given well over 3,00 professional concerts here, in Australia, England and in Italy.

His Guitar Sonata Impressions of Rome has been featured on Radio NZ concert, and he has appeared on National and Regional (when
we had it!) TV… His ROADWORKS tour surveys and commemorates the last 40 years of touring as a fulltime concert artist. On the road he met many interesting people and visited many interesting locations. Along the way, he has performed with many diverse musicians from Italy, Chile, Dalmatia, Venezuela, Brazil, and Bolivia. He has performed with orchestral violinists, a flutist, a Blues singer, Latin, and Jazz
musicians.
