Christmas at Te Papa

Kia hari, kia koa! Be joyful, be merry! The holiday countdown starts with Kirihimete i Te Papa!

The tree is up and we’re ready to spread a little joy. Join Santa and our elves for a day of festivities for all ages, including a scavenger hunt, music, workshops, prizes, and activities. Check out the programme of events for the day!

Activities include:

-Colouring competition: Christmas-themed, with prizes from Te Papa Store
-Letters to Santa: write your letter to Santa on a vintage typewriter
-Badge-making: create your own memento of the day.
-Fairy Doors Craft: make and decorate your very own fairy door for your favourite tree (donations for this activity are encouraged).
-Gingerbread decorating lab: decorate and taste your own gingerbread person. Cookie and icing provided (donations for this activity are encouraged).
