Marine Encounters at the N.Z. Marine Studies Centre

During a tour of the N.Z. Marine Studies Centre at Portobello, connect with your coast, meet local marine species at our touch tanks, and discover what makes them special. Get an insight into the research at the Portobello Marine Lab before taking a deep sea dive in our virtual submarine!

Adults are $15, children aged 2-18 are $10.

Two sessions are available on Saturday 7th September:
10am - 11:30am
12pm - 1:30pm

Toddlers 2yrs and under are free but please specify numbers in your ticket registration.

Most of our site is accessible via wheelchair or stroller. Please note any accessibility needs in your registration.
