Martin Setchell - Organ

International concert organist Martin Setchell has had a long career as concert organist, first in England and then New Zealand where he spent decades on the staff of the University of Canterbury School of Music. Now freelancing throughout the world he is also active as a conductor, writer, editor and speaker. He still retains his Christchurch connection as organist of the Christchurch Town Hall.

Programme highlights will include traditional Baroque works by Bach and Handel and later works by French composers Guilmant and Faure. The programme continues with a wide variety of music from opera, film and other sources.
