An invitational Group Showcase of creative artworks that fit within or on a standard matchbox.
Each participating artist will contribute five unique artworks, creatively crafted in or on a matchbox. Expect to see intriguing miniatures, installations, and even mini portraits or paintings. The display will surprise you just as much as the individual pieces. The Incubator Creative Hub invited a select group of artists to submit art to this exhibition of miniature works, which will be featured at the Incubator Creative Hub as part of the late October/November exhibition series. The exhibition will take place in The Incubator Gallery, opening on Friday, October 25th at 5:30 PM.
The artists and creatives will design a collection of five pieces, exploring innovative ways to present matchboxes as a mini artwork. The works will encompass a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, ceramic, textile, multimedia, assemblage, and sculpture.
Expect the weird, the wacky, the tiny, and the delicate — this exhibition promises to be a captivating experience. Don’t miss out!
Opening preview Friday 25th October 5:30-7:30pm in the Incubator lounge. Everyone welcome. Licensed Bar and refreshments available. On display in The Incubator Gallery from Saturday 26th October - 16th November 2024. 10am to 3pm.
