My Family Tree - My Whānau and Me Book Launch

June Pitman-Hayes, Minky Stapleton, and the Scholastic Team invite you and your family to join them in celebrating the Auckland launch of their latest bi-lingual children's picture book with waiata, at 1pm on Sunday 15th September 2024, at The Dorothy Butler Children's Bookshop. This little gem of a book is ideal for early readers from 3 to 8 years, and will be available to purchase from the venues bookshop on the day.

This is a Free event, where you and your children can come dressed up as trees (or leaves, or birds, or twigs). We will have some activity sheets for the kids to enjoy. June will be reading and singing the story/waiata, and at the end will be happy to sign books while you enjoy some light refreshments.

This will be the perfect family Sunday afternoon event to lead into Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.
