We are excited to announce that we are establishing a networking group for animal welfare scientists, the New Zealand Animal Welfare Science Network.
We aim to bring together animal welfare scientists to support and promote science-based progress in animal welfare. We realise that there are animal welfare scientists across NZ in CRIs, universities, government agencies, industry and other groups, and there is not a way for us all to connect together to share our work, ideas, and resources, form collaborations and work together to support animal welfare.
Our first priority is to hold a small invitation-only, one-day workshop, with a mix of presentations and discussions to start to understand what the gaps are in NZ’s current animal welfare research and science system.
We really hope you can join us for some interesting discussions and connect with other animal welfare scientists!
You have been invited to join as individuals not as representatives of an organisation. Please get in touch if you know others who should be invited.
