The 2024 New Zealand King Salmon Winter Sailing Series takes place fortnightly on Sundays out in the beautiful Queen Charlotte Sounds.
Up to 20 yachts take part in this 1-2 hour sailing race and join at the Waikawa Boating Clubhouse for refreshments and fun post-race.
For best viewing of the race, visit the car park at Karaka Point.
Visitors or newcomers are welcome to join a boat and give sailing a try (advance notice required - please email events@waikawaboatingclub.co.nz)
