On 24 August 2024, the 'all Beers' Are Taking on the Irish in the First Amateur/golden Oldies Style Test Match on New Zealand Soil at Linwood Rugby Club - Kick-off 1200.

After the Irish's Fiery Destruction of the All Blacks in 2022, an Idea Grew out of the Ashes to Form Amateur New Zealand Xv and Ireland Xv Teams and Bring Both Communities Together.
The Irish Have a Proud History in New Zealand and There Is an Outstanding Community in Canterbury.

So, on Saturday, 24 August, Dust off Your Boots, Get Your Warm Woolies On, and Get the Taste of a Sausage Sizzle in Ya - Because 15 Kiwi's and 15 Irish Are Taking Each Other on in New Zealand's Inaugural Test Match, to Contest the 'new Munster Cup'.

The Name 'New Munster' Originating from the Irish Province and Also Being One of the Original Names Proposed for the South Island in the 's - a Fitting Tribute to the Mixing of Cultures, and the Irish Contribution to New Zealand.
