Life Skills Class for Puppies and Dogs
Join us in the car park where we have plenty of room to explain, demonstrate and for you to execute some dog training strategies.
We start with getting our dog attention! Then though the use of hand signals, we navigate the possibilities of getting your dog to do some of the behaviours necessary for them to live in our society. Although we don't teach in a unique way, we teach in a relaxed way. Having patience for your dog to learn and do the exercise will help them cement what is asked of them.
Dogs don't meet nose to nose. We want dogs to look at their owner for guidance instead of other dogs!
You will learn:
* to teach self-control to your dog,
* how to teach your dog with emotions, so that you don't have to rely on treats all the time.
* how to prevent unruly behaviours.
* why your dog does what he does
* how to play with your dog.
* how to get your dog to come back to you
* how to teach commands sit, down, come, etc
* how to get your dog to walk beside you (with or without a harness)
* how to train your dog silently!
Classes are Sunday morning 10:00 am-11:00 am
