Parihaka Peace Bell Service

This commemorative service is part of a programme events put on by Ngā Manu Kōrihi Ōtautahi (NMKŌ) in partnership with the New Zealand World Peace Bell Trust. Parihaka Day (5 November) commemorative service to be held at the site of the New Zealand World Peace Bell in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens – see https://maps.app.goo.gl/iui3RYEbUr6LZUcp6 \

The service will include karakia, waiata, a short talk about Parihaka, a choral item by Christ’s College choir and the ringing of the Bell. Opportunity will be given to those attending to also ring the bell. This event will take place rain or shine, and in the event of cancellation, updates will be posted on social media.
