Peter Bush Archive Auction & Fundraiser Launch

Te Manawa, with support from the New Zealand Rugby Museum, is proud to have acquired the extensive archive of images from one of New Zealand’s most prolific photojournalists, Peter Bush. Consisting of some 300,000 items, the Peter Bush Collection represents a lifetime of photography that captures the story and spirit of 20th Century Aotearoa New Zealand through images of sport, cultural events and landscapes.

On Thursday 8th August, join us at Te Manawa to celebrate the legacy of Peter Bush at our live auction. Enjoy a complimentary drink and nibbles, hear from guest speakers Dame Farah Palmer and Hamish McKay and bid on prints of some of Peter Bush’s most iconic rugby photographs. All funds raised at the auction will go towards caring for the Peter Bush archive as well as making it accessible for current and future generations in the years to come.
