By Professor Beverly Gaventa, a leading New Testament scholar, who was the Distinguished Professor of New Testament Interpretation at Baylor University in Texas, and Helen H.P. Manson Professor of New Testament Literature and Exegesis Emerita at Princeton Theological Seminary.

She is the author of From Darkness to Light: Aspects of Conversion in the New Testament (Minneapolis: Fortress Press, 1986); Mary: Glimpses of the Mother of Jesus (Studies on personalities of the New Testament.
