Raising Resilient Kids

Michael Park School brings you a parenting presentation by Adrienne Wood.

When raising kids should we aim to toughen them up or soften them up? What truly builds resilience in a child? Using insight from the Neufeld Institute, Adrienne will talk about the vital ingredients needed to ensure optimal functioning in kids that allows them to bounce back from emotional challenges and adversity.
Adrienne will cover:

- keeping the lead
- keeping the heart soft
- the vital importance of connection

Adrienne is a presenter, educator and parent consultant trained under the Gordon Neufeld Institute. Adrienne is a former high school teacher and lecturer in human development and is mother to two adolescents of her own. She is also Team Leader of Neufeld Aotearoa and the Neufeld Institute Regional Director.
