Restore Hibiscus &; Bays Community Planting Day - Okoromai - Clansman Reserve, Army Bay

We have plenty of native trees, shrubs and grasses to plant this planting season and we would love for you to come along and help us. Bring along your friends and family as well, as everyone is welcome.

This planting day is not to be missed! The beautiful reserve has been designated a Significant Ecological Area and offers the chance to be amongst diverse native plant species and you may even hear some very special birds, which includes the kākāriki which have been visiting lately! All whilst helping us plant trees!

There is an exciting opportunity for a corporate group to have a weekday planting day at Okoromai-Clansman towards the end of August, if this sounds like something you would like to be part of, get in touch with us to book in.

Bring your gardening gloves, and a clean spade if you have one. Plus some water and snacks to keep you going.

Where to meet: 29 Okoromai Views, Gulf Harbour. (Enter the reserve from the end of Okoromai Views and walk down the hill).
