Like lively Celtic music? Want to have fun while keeping fit? Come and try Scottish country dancing!
Scottish country is social dancing, usually in groups of eight, and is quite different from Highland dancing. There are no bagpipes and kilts are worn by men only at formal occasions. No partner or previous experience is required, just soft shoes and comfortable clothing.
Every Monday 7.30pm at the Manawatu Scottish Society Hall, Berryman’s Lane, Palmerston North or every Wednesday 7.30pm at the Whakarongo Community Hall, cnr Stoney Creek Rod & Napier Hwy
