Silver Twisted Rings - Christchurch

Craft an elegant twisted silver ring from solid silver! Learn to soften and twist wire to create the twist you want, then how to form it up into a ring that fits you. Learn to use the jeweller's torch to solder then clean up and polish the ring to a beautiful finish.

This 3-hour class is ideal for beginners, groups of friends and visitors to the city.

An excellent, fun class if you have already taken one of our Stacking Rings or Textured Earrings classes and fancy adding to your jewellery collection.

Included in the class fee are copper and brass for practising on, sterling silver bar to create your twist ring and all consumables such as sandpaper, solder and chemicals. Extra metals are available for purchase in the studio.

Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
