It's not surprising if you're non-Caucasian. The Australian Constitution of 1901 contained "The White Australia Policy". The Englishmen who created it wanted to populate Australia with people only from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Until PM Gough Whitlam deleted it in 1973, Australia was saturated with societal, systemic and constitutional racism. It was almost the law to be racist. But racism couldn't and wasn't eliminated with the stroke of a pen. So how do you deal with it and thrive from it?
