The Governor of Groove will be bringing a scorching set of Funk, Soul, House & Disco to Whitianga for a night of dancing,plus is also bringing along his great Dj pals Magnette and R-Groove who will bring more soul and R&B.

Dj Tido has been spinning music at the turntables since the mid 90s. Starting out in the Garden City running club nights and hosting the Supafly Radio Show on RDU for over a decade. Tido’s style focuses on all things funky, drawing influence from: Jazz, Soul, Disco, Latin, Afrobeat & House. Tido has DJ'd around New Zealand and Australia as well as performances in the USA, Canada, UK and Africa. He has performed alongside some great artists such as: Mr Scruff, Lee Perry, The Mad Professor, Jazzanova, Fat Freddy's Drop, Kora and Opensouls, to name a few.
