STILL HERE: Central Auckland’s Pasifika Presence

See a selection from STILL HERE, the documentary series that’s a love letter to inner-city Auckland's Pasifika community. Since the 1950s, the Pasifika community has cultivated a unique Central Auckland identity that many of today’s youth embrace, both in resisting gentrification and showing that they and their families are still here. At the screening we will meet guest speakers, engage in discussion and enjoy light refreshments. This is an Auckland Heritage Festival event.
