Frieze!
Letter go!
Stop by The National Library of New Zealand, and join Tāmaki Makaurau based artist, Julian Hooper for a lively mid-morning drawing workshop held in connection with City Gallery Wellington’s current exhibition Julian Hooper: The Letter. Frieze the moment with your own personalised alphabet design
Over the past decade, Hooper has developed an idiosyncratic visual language drawing on letters, numbers and symbols. This workshop is a unique opportunity to think-through-making with Julian, as we interrogate the endlessly iterative nature of the alphabet, together.
Please bring an object and an image of your choosing to the workshop to draw inspiration from.
This is a 1.5-hour session. Spaces are limited, so purchase your ticket today to secure a spot > https://bit.ly/47kDIjW
All materials will be provided, brought to you with the support from Gordon Harris.
