Subtle Impermanence: Friday Night Lecture

Everything lasts only for a moment - this is subtle impermanence. When we understand this truth, we accept that nothing remains or abides from one moment to the next, therefore; there is no sense in developing attachment or anger towards people or things.

By learning how to contemplate and meditate on the knowledge of subtle impermanence, we will develop profound wisdom. The wisdom of impermanence relaxes and calms our mind, solves many of our daily problems and draws us closer to understanding the ultimate nature of reality.
