The Taranaki National Art Awards is a large National Art Competition and Exhibition held in Opunake, South Taranaki, during the Garden Festival weekends.
Our event showcases up to 400 art pieces from artists throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand.
We offer prize money for first and second-prize winners over seven categories: Painting, Taranaki Artists, 3D, Works On Paper, Fibre Art, Tō Taranakitanga, and Photography.

Our Awards night is held on the 1st of November 2024, doors open at 6 pm until late. All are welcome to attend.
Also, our exhibition is open to the public, 10 am - 4 pm daily from the 2nd of November until the 10th of November.
