Te Tārai Rangatira Collective is a group of Year 13 whakairo students from Ōtāhuhu College who have been carving for three years. They have a passion for the art form, traditional and contemporary.
Te Tārai Rangatira seeks to forge leaders through the traditional art form of whakairo.
Come along and see the outstanding artworks of the Ōtāhuhu College Whakairo class at the Māngere Arts Centre! Open from the 17th of August to the 14th of September.
