Print Council Aotearoa New Zealand (PCANZ) has an exciting opportunity to exhibit new work in Auckland at NorthArt Gallery in August/September this year. Open to all members of PCANZ, it is a selected exhibition consisting of 48 works, expanding members' ideas of print.

This exhibition showcases a contemporary approach to printmaking, exploring different ways of engaging with imagery, materials, processes and technologies. The works selected are diverse, ranging from floor based, wall mounted, and plinth to a variety of hanging installations.
"The traditional boundaries of printed art are themselves not as clear as they were. In the popular imagination, the quintessential print might be a delicate black and white etching, but there is actually no such thing as the quintessential print. Artists are continually redefining parameters "(Deborah Wye, p.7 ‘Thinking Print’, 1996).
