As desperate attempts to get it home to the freezer, Bonnie and Nikau set off at pace. Yet trials and tribulations and the journey home becomes an epic, exciting survival adventure across an environmental wasteland. The Ice Cream is Melting!, is a silly, fun, and unique ice cream survival story through the bends and swirls of circus arts transforming important issues around environmental change into a fantasia of fun.

The Dust Palace troupe of incredible performers utilises the innate joys of aerial silks, aerial straps and acrobatics to make sure that by flight or way through environmental issues to get an ice cream safely back home for the whanau.
