Join us for an enlightening evening with Carly Vevers, our guest speaker - curator and researcher at the Western Bay Museum.

Carly, hailing from Invercargill, is of Kāti Māmoe and Kāi Tahu, Scottish, English, and Irish descent, is currently pursuing her Masters in Museum Studies through Massey University. With her background in History and Records and Information Management, Carly has embarked on a fascinating research journey that involved collaboration with curators, archaeologists, and geologists from across the country.
This presentation will explore the intricate process of uncovering the secrets of this precious artefact, revealing how a seemingly simple object can spark profound curiosity and collaborative efforts.
