As part of our third Hihiaua Open Day, we are excited to be hosting Wiremu Sarich (Te Rarawa, Ngapuhi, Tainui), who will be weaving tales of the legendary Māui through whai (intricate string formations). His unique storytelling technique combines the ancient art of string games with captivating narratives about the clever and adventurous Māui.
