Two of NZ's finest saxophonists Frank Talbot and Toby Barrett join forces to pay tribute to some of the great saxophone duos/battles of all time. Just as Gene Ammons and Sonny Stitt, Johnny Griffin and Dexter Gordon, Cannonball Adderley and John Coltrane played all time classic fiery sax duos pushing each other to new heights, Talbot and Barrett seek to pay tribute to this excellent tradition with energy and inventiveness. Bringing with them a powerhouse Wellington rhythm session, this promises to be a late night session to blow the roof off the hall.
