Acting Blind - ArtBeat 2025

Our very own Artbeat special event! For two nights only, 'Acting Blind' is a semi-revival of the script reading events by The Octagon Theatre (The Whangārei Repertory Society Inc.). These events are what the society was built from way back in 1948. Somewhere between then and now, the script reading events disappeared, but now we're bringing it back with a sneaky twist......

Synopsis:

A small group of actors have come together to give Oscar-worthy performance!!! But there's a twist..... none of the actors have read the script before!!!! Come and see this acting troupe do their best as they discover the plot, stage directions and lighting cues at the same time as you, the audience!!!
