Afternoon Tea & Artist Talk with Victoria McIntosh

The kettle is warming, the tea trolley is set, the home made cakes are waiting to be devoured! So please join us for afternoon tea and an artist talk with Victoria MacIntosh, and get to know the exhibition Sitting Pretty – The Desserts of Discontent more intimately.

Based in her hometown Ōtepoti, McIntosh stitches together contemporary jewellery, sculpture and assemblage. A collector by nature, she is drawn to objects that carry a sense of history, whether real or imagined. Her practice combines vintage textiles and metalware to explore ideas around body image and autonomy.

This event coincides with the last day of the exhibition.
