The Bay Cities’ Symphonic Band is absolutely delighted to be performing in Waipawa at the CHB Municipal Theatre on Friday 4th April at 7pm. With a fresh and colourful portrait of the Appalachian Mountains, their featured piece, ‘All the Earth and Air’ is a heartfelt, yet powerful overture composed in 2024 for piano and wind band by Tyler Grant. The programme also includes a fitting tribute to the theatre with, ‘Selections from Les Miserables’, the marvellously fun, Gershwin inspired, ‘New York 1927’, the lyrical ‘Ode to Greensleeves’ played on flugelhorn by the talented Mr. James Lowe and much, much more. And of course we couldn’t come to Waipawa without inviting CHB’s Mayor herself, the fabulous Alex Walker to join us on trumpet!

Table seating, an open bar and great music - get your tickets now for this wonderful night out. Limited door sales on the night.
