Join us for an intimate evening celebrating the arrival of acclaimed violinist Justine Cormack as the new Concertmaster of Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.

Justine is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most respected and dynamic violinists. A founding member and former violinist of the internationally acclaimed NZTrio, she has performed widely across Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally, and has a wealth of experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral leader. Her deep musicality, artistry, and commitment to excellence make her a powerful addition to our orchestra’s artistic leadership.

This special event offers a chance to meet Justine, hear her speak about her musical journey and vision for the orchestra, and enjoy a live performance showcasing her artistry – accompanied by fellow NZTrio founding member Sarah Watkins.
