Auckland’s favourite winter tradition returns – transforming Aotea Square into a magical ice-skating wonderland under the stars
Whether you're a seasoned skater or a total newbie, come glide beneath the lights and soak up the winter vibes in the heart of the city!
Opening on Matariki, we have face painting on Friday 20 June from 1 - 3pm and a DJ on ice playing Kiwiana hits from 7pm - 10pm to celebrate Matariki.
This year’s themed nights bring the heat:
Student Wednesdays – Midweek mates + sweet discounts
Skate & Date Thursdays – Romantic vibes + smooth tunes
Groovy Fridays – Live DJ on the ice = weekend started right

Please note helmets are compulsory and we recommend the wearing of gloves.
