Last year was the 100th anniversary of Puccini’s death and, slightly belatedly, we are excited to present his powerful and melodic "Messa di Gloria", a lesser-known sacred work showcasing his extraordinary youthful ambition, written before Puccini became the renowned operatic maestro we all know and love.
Accompanied by Ars Antiqua Chamber Orchestra and directed by Christopher J. Luke, we are also delighted to welcome back our two highly accomplished guest soloists from Wellington, John Beaglehole and Roger Wilson.
Tickets available at the door which will open from 1pm. As is our custom, we would like to invite our audience to enjoy some complimentary light refreshments following the concert.
