Artists in Eden

Founded nearly 40 years ago, Artists in Eden Day is a one-of-a-kind event and a long-established annual favourite on the Mt Eden cultural calendar. Every year around 30 to 40 invited artists make work "live" on the day ahead of an auction in the afternoon. Proceeds help to fund the Eden Arts busy programme of activities supporting the arts and artists in Mt Eden and beyond. This year's participating artists include Peter Gibson Smith, Simon Williams, Belinda Griffiths, Neal Palmer, Sara Langdon, Nicholas Pound, Richard Adams, Brittany Walker Smith and Krystie Wade, as well as recent winners of the Eden Arts Art Schools Award. Be in to bid for an artwork you watched being created. There will also be live music throughout the day, kids' art activities and a chance to win a magnificent original framed painting by George Baloghy in our raffle.
