We invite you to surrender to the stillness and to soften in the shadows. A Yin Yoga experience and plant-based dinner - all included in your ticket!

For this event, Yin Yoga with Namaste Nicola, has a unique and special twist; eye shades will be offered to students at the beginning of class to wear for their practice. By covering the eyes, we are able to relax and take a sensory rest.

We live in a world of distractions, our modern day lives hounded by junk light from small and big screens. The eyes, which take on around 80% of information, are tired and our nervous systems always overstimulated.

The practice aims to take the already introspective practice of Yin a little deeper. This is an opportunity for you to embrace the natural state of darkness, to begin an enhanced conversation with self, a reconnection with your physical body, energy and emotions.

Suitable for beginners to those who have experienced yin yoga, all the poses are either seated or lying down with a duration of 3 to 5 minutes and the transitions will be gently guided.

Feedback from students who have experience this class;

“It took away comparison, I couldn’t see anyone else, and for the first time I could truly concentrate on only myself”

“So calming, I felt an ease with my body I hadn’t felt before”

“With my eyes covered, I could hear more clearly, I loved the stories and poems read out, it felt nostalgic from being read to as a child”

Please know that the eye shade is an offering, you can use the covering as you wish and what you feel confident with, you can peak out between poses (in the 60 minute class there’ll be no more than 6) and then have the shade in place for the duration of time in the pose. Eye shade on, or off please choose your journey.

Afterwards, we’ll come together over a beautiful and nourishing plant-based dinner - all included in your ticket.

Meet Nicola, your teacher
The essence of namaste nicola’s teaching is soulful, gently guiding you through the yoga experience to a deeper connection with yourself.

She has over 20 years of teaching in Australia and New Zealand, and over 300 hours of training with International lead trainers, and forever expanding her knowledge. The yoga philosophy, the poses, the movement now interweaves through her entire being, thinking, relationships with others and herself. Yoga isn’t something she does, it is who she is, and it is a joy to guide others in their hatha or yin practice.

“I am a seeker, yogi, emotional at sunsets, in awe of the moon, and if, when it is all over, I’m asked what I did with my life, I want to be able to say, I offered love”.
