Dónal Gunning is a singer songwriter from Ireland. He draws on rock, folk, indie and punk influences. Now based in Wellington, New Zealand his EP ' Born to Perform' released in May 2024.
He knows how to work the crowd and always brings fun, energy and Irish charm through his thought-provoking lyrics and formative, powerful sound. He’ll bring a driving beat that’ll make want to you shake your hips and rock on all night long.
Dónal is accompanied by his back-line 'The Bucks', a collection of upcoming Wellington based musicians, who will release their next EP in 2025.
They look forward to playing at The Common Room the 17th January 2024.
