Korean cuisine is becoming more and more known these days such as kimchi, Korean BBQ known as bulgogi, and Korean chicken. But how do everyday Koreans eat their meal? What is a traditional dinner table setting known as Korean bapsang? This course will provide these answers by learning several Korean dishes such as Korean pancakes, tteokbokki and kimbap.

Watching a chef cook a dish can be exciting but sometimes a bit overwhelming to make at home. Having cooked Korean meals for the past 20 years while working, as well as being a wife and mom, cooking has never been a slow process but one that had to be made quickly, efficiently and yet authentic looking! So this course might as well be called Korean cooking made easy! You will be able to follow these dishes easily at the comfort of your home.

Each class will have a theme that will introduce new dishes.

The dishes are different for each term and will include:

Term 1 and 3

Week 1 Dakgalbi (Stir-fried Spicy Chicken)

Week 2 Dongtae Jeon (Pan-fried Fish Fillet)

Week 3 Tteokbokki
