Elevate - Pride Wairau Workshop Series

Join us for ELEVATE – Pride Wairau Workshops, a transformative series facilitated by InsideOUT Kōaro, dedicated to fostering understanding and inclusivity within our communities. This year, we’re expanding our reach by offering four in-depth workshops, each lasting two hours, providing participants with the opportunity to delve deeper into the topics and engage in meaningful discussions.

IN THIS WORKSHOP, ATTENDEE'S WILL DELVE INTO THE FOLLOWING TOPIC:

- Enhancing Rainbow Inclusivity in Community and Workplaces

This 2 hour workshop delivered by two of InsideOUT Kōaro's experienced educators is a vital opportunity to delve into the importance of actively championing rainbow communities in both workplaces and wider community settings. The workshop is designed to give anyone at any stage of their learning an understanding of why this cultural focus is important, and how to safely engage with and support our communities. We will focus on the practical experiences of rainbow communities, as well as things everyone can do to support inclusion and equity for these communities.

About InsideOUT Kōaro:

InsideOUT Kōaro is a national charity in Aotearoa, committed to making the country a safer and more inclusive place for all rainbow and takatāpui individuals. We provide education, resources, consultation, and support on matters concerning rainbow (LGBTQIA+) communities. Our mission is to work collaboratively with youth, whānau, schools, community groups, and other organizations to create environments where rainbow young people feel a sense of safety and belonging.

Registration:

Spaces are limited, so early registration is essential. Each workshop is free to attend and is limited to 25 participants to ensure an engaging and interactive environment. This intimate setting allows our facilitators to connect closely with attendees, fostering a free-flowing and supportive atmosphere.

Workshops will take place in a central location in Blenheim CBD - location will be revealed to ticket holders prior to the workshop.
