After celebrating its 10-year anniversary in November 2024, Emo Night Aotearoa is back for 2025, taking over Ding Dong Lounge in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, on Saturday, 25 January. With live music, iconic anthems, and all the emo nostalgia you can handle, this is set to be a night to remember.
Upstairs at Dead Witch, Auckland’s own pop-punk heavyweights Blindr and Lost Vessels will deliver blistering sets packed with energy and attitude. These local favourites bring everything from heartfelt hooks to driving beats, ensuring the live stage is the place to be for fans of raw, powerful performances.
Meanwhile, downstairs in the main bar, DJs Danni Doll, Drew Bang, and special guests will be spinning the ultimate soundtrack to your emo and pop-punk Mmrs. Think Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, blink-182, Panic! At The Disco, Linkin Park, The Used, Evanescence, Taking Back Sunday, AFI, and plenty more. Whether you’re screaming along to “Helena” or jumping to “All the Small Things,” the playlist is stacked with tracks that defined a generation.
Emo Night isn’t just about the music—it’s about the community. We’re committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone can have a great time. Bring your best emo look, respect each other, and if you need help, our staff are always there to support you.
Grab your mates, line your eyes, and get ready to relive the highs and heartbreaks of emo’s golden era. This is your chance to celebrate the music that shaped you, the friendships that keep it alive, and the electric energy of an Auckland crowd that knows how to party.
Grab your Early Bird tickets for just $15 before Monday, 13 January at 10 PM. After that, it’s $25 at the door before 8pm or $30 after 8pm, so lock it in now and save big!
