Alistair Brown is on his 8th tour of NZ and is coming through Northland. Alistair is a Scottish Folk singer Born in Scotland and now living in Cornwell. Check out his Bio, it is intensive. Alistair's performances cover the field from big ballads, comic ditties, songs of struggles (usually unsuccessful) against temptation, odes to conviviality and songs of unashamed sentimentality, to outrageously funny stories from a master of the art - all this accompanied by anglo concertinas and button accordion. With his style of music it will be like a homecoming in our Scottish settlement of Waipu.
Joined by Whangarei local Duo the 'Holy Mackerals', who played at our Medievil night last year. This night will be a ripper, prepare to dance and smile.
Set in Tahamoana's stunning grounds overlooking Bream Bay in Waipu.
